Haskell is in his third year as a member of the Salve Regina athletics staff. After coming to the Seahawks as an offensive line coach for the football team for the 2010 season, he joined the fitness center staff in January of 2011.
A 2010 graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Haskell was a four-year member of the Rams football team as an offensive lineman and received his bachelors of Science degree in kinesiology/exercise science from URI. He is currently pursuing his masters of Business Administration in Management at Salve Regina University.
Haskell is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) (NSCA). Haskell is a certified healthcare provider through the American Heart Association (CPR, AED, and First Aid).
As the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, he is responsible for strength and conditioning programs for the Seahawks football, men/women’s soccer, women’s basketball, men’s ice hockey, field hockey, volleyball, and women’s lacrosse teams. Haskell coordinates an internship program for those interested in the field of strength and conditioning while also managing the work-study students that work in the Fitness Center.
Originally from Cranston, R.I., Haskell currently resides in Newport.
