BEVERLY, Mass. – The second-seeded Endicott field hockey team scored three straight goals to begin the contest and never looked back in an eventual 5-1 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament semifinal round victory over No. 3 Salve Regina on Wednesday night at North Field.

Endicott wasted little time getting on the scoreboard as Sophia Cogliano (Saugus, Mass.) buried a feed from Jaylin Grabau (Lynnfield, Mass.) just 2:48 into the contest. Emily Hirtle (Rowley, Mass.) and Grabau followed with tallies over the next 15:22 to put enough distance between the two teams the rest of the way.

Salve Regina's Tori Bickel (Harleysville, Pa.) did eventually answer with her 13th tally of the year at 30:45, but Cogliano took away any momentum from the Seahawks with her 25th goal of the season 1:09 later. Bushey then went on to cap the scoring at the 58:47 mark of the contest on a feed from Cogliano to end any chance of a comeback bid by Salve Regina.
