Rosenfeld, Isch earn All-CCC recognition

NEWPORT, R.I. – Senior Zachary Rosenfeld (Easton, Conn.) and junior Aaron Isch (Tolland, Conn.) were each selected as members of the 2012 All-Commonwealth Coast Conference Men's Tennis Team, as announced by commissioner Gregg Kaye on Friday evening. Rosenfeld was named to All-CCC First Team, while Isch earned All-CCC Second Team recognition.

Rosenfeld manned the No.1 singles and No.1 doubles positions for the Seahawks all season long. He was named the CCC Player of the Week for the period of March 26 – April 1 after leading the Seahawks to their first win of the season by posting victories at both No.1 singles and doubles versus Gordon.

Isch led the Seahawks with 10 singles wins this year, all coming from the No. 2 slot, compiling an impressive 6-2 mark during conference play.

The two team captains paired up to form the Seahawks' No.1 doubles team, capturing seven wins on the season, while also posting a 5-3 mark in the conference.

Rosenfeld and Isch will lead the Seahawks' into the CCC Championship tournament this Saturday when the team hits the road for a quarterfinal round matchup versus Eastern Nazarene at 1 p.m.
