Cougars clamp down on Seahawks

NEWPORT, R.I. - Salve Regina University senior Aaron Isch (Tolland, Conn.) came the closest to earning a match victory, but visiting Clark University men's tennis improved to 3-1 with a 9-0 win over the Seahawks in non-league action.

Stein had an 8-4 lead on the second changeover of the tiebreak and split the next four points for the final decision in a 9-0 victory.

The Cougars' No. 2 doubles pair - Dan Hall (Sutton, Mass.) and Harris Rollinger (Lexington, Mass.) started the day with an 8-0 triumph. At No. 3 doubles, Scott Cabell (West Hartford, Conn.) and Phillip Porter (Cortland Manor, N.Y.) took their match by the same score.
